Our Open Door Market is now
open! 2008 Schedule (Aug 1- October 31) 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
4 days/wk: Thurs - Sun until September 14 6 days/week (closed Mondays) thru September 30th
7 days/wk all
October. Weekends enjoy our Pumpkin Fall Festival! Closed November 1 until mid-July. Throughout
the winter and spring we'll be cultivating the best planting, growing, harvesting and farming ideas again for next growing
and harvest season! Come back and start your summer nutritious produce
shopping every July! Come in and shop our wide variety of CERTIFIED ORGANIC vegetables grown only
a few miles from the market. We specialize in producing farm fresh, hand-picked organically-grown
delicious produce for you and your family.


CANNED GOODS, ALL NATURAL FRUIT JUICES and our famous
EVERY DAY FRESH PUMPKIN BREAD... by the loaf or hefty slice
- HONEY: We have locally produced honey, honey sticks and honey combs. Some from our own fields, which isthe best for locals
to eat!
- JUICES & CIDERS: Individual size, 24 oz, 1/2 gallon and gallon jars of peach, apple, raspberry, bing cherry
and other Western Slope fruit juices and ciders
- Fresh APPLE CIDER comes in the first part of October, cold and ready to enjoy - only gallon size
- CANNED GOODIES: Jars and jars of scrumptious pepper concoctions, olives, spiced beets, pickles with peppers and many more
varieties and mixtures plus jams, jellies and syrups that people rave about and wait for each year
- We have "BUTTERS" too: Peach Butter, Apple Butter, Cherry Butter, Sweet Potato Butter, and of course, Pumpkin

QUICK PIE RECIPE
You can make a quick and delicious pie with just one jar of our "butter" of choice (see above), 2 eggs and
a pie shell! Amaze your family and friends. It's so fast and nutritious!

GIFT BASKETS We have Gift Baskets in a variety of inclusions
ready to go, or custom ordered. We also ship. We need 24-48 hours for custom orders. Please call or come in and choose the
delicious canned goods, small decorative gourds, pumpkins and Indian Corn you might like in the basket too. The recipient
will be thrilled!

We have a few new and different items each year from local creative producers.
Some items include:
- Fall Flowers from John & Sue: In late September and into October we carry Mums and other
Fall Flowers in 1 and 2 gallon pots. They are soooo beautiful and a bit different every year. Longmont growers.
- High Country Crafts Soaps. Handmade soap made with fresh and creamy Nubian Dairy goat's milk from just
down the road in Lyons. They sell out every year!
- Monrico's Ciders and Juices Mmmmmmm! Western Slope
- Rabbit Mountain Honey, Hygience, CO.

ice cream, just for us the first week of our October Pumpkin Festival.

From mid-summer to the end of October, we also offer our delicious produce at four local farmer's markets.

- 1pm First Sat. in May - Last Sat. in October - Boulder - In the heart of downtown Boulder
next to Central Park on 13th St. between Canyon Blvd and Arapahoe Ave.

4pm - 8pm First Wed. in May to First Wed. in October

JULY-SEPTEMBER-ish
- sweet corn -- Peaches n' Cream
- tomatoes for canning and eating on the spot. Canners and Romas.

- summer squash, yellow and patty-pans
- watermelon - red and yellow inside
- cantelope - a fun variety of yellow and green inside - sweet as sugar!

- pickles (Canning? If you want to order pickles for canning, depending on the
crop and weather and such each year, we never can predict how many we'll have. Do call and place your order however and we'll
do our best to meet it!)

roasted for you while you wait and watch! Some of our hot peppers are roasted by hand at the Farmer's Market)
if not, you can get roasted peppers in 1/2 and full bushels at our Market when in season.

Incoming crops change weekly, come in often to get the first and best
of the season.
FRUIT FROM THE WESTERN SLOPE

for pies, tarts and other baked delights. They fly out of our freezer quickly each year. Call to order as they go fast!

End of AUGUST- Late SEPTEMBER

- winter squash: acorn; turban; speghetti - many varieties - bins of them!

- tomatoes - last of the crop for sure!
